Gun Man Kills Himself at Johns Hopkins Hospital -- Warren Davis the man who shot a Physician at Johns Hopkins, Killed his mother and himself.

Warren Davis was deeply agitated as he was being oriented by a surgeon at the state of the art, world famous, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore about his mother's condition.

Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III said the gunman "became emotionally distraught and reacted" and became upset by the unpleasant news he heard about his mother's condition.

Davis pulled a gun and shot the doctor. After two hours deadlock Police was able to get in the room and they found Davis and his mother, 84 year old Jean Davis, shot to death.

"I guess he just couldn't bear to see her the way she was," said Davis brother, 59 year old Alvin Gibson of Remington, Va. According to him their mother was suffering from arthritis and rheumatism and had surgery last week, but it didn't help her.

"I guess because he thought my mom was suffering because the surgery wasn't successful and she probably wouldn't be able to walk again," his brother also added as reason why Davis did what he have done. "She was a dear, sweet lady."

Meanwhile, the Doctor's wound wasn't fatal so he is expected to survive.

Another sad story eh? I think, had the Police handled the situation efficiently it might have ended differently. I thought you got some strategies up in your sleeves fellas? These incidents happen all over the world, I know that. But authorities must deal with such situations in a more satisfactory manner of resolving. Innocent people always fall as victims in such scenarios. I'm deeply sadden, I can't help but to ask what the heck is wrong with our freakin' world today?
