Ines Sainz: New York Jets owner Woody Johnson Apologizes for Harassment; She accepts. Reports said, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson gives his public apology to Ines Sainz for the dubious harassment.

I called her the minute I found out about it, and I finally spoke to her later on in the day, Johnson said.

We take this very, very seriously, as you can imagine. We want all of our reporters, female or male, to be comfortable whenever they are, on the sideline, in the locker room or at a game. We have to make the working environment professional representing the New York Jets as well.

When asked to discuss additional details of the issue Johnson stated: "Right now, we're working with the league and we're doing all the fact finding, checking the facts, doing the interviews...But after we get them all, I'll let you know."

Jets Players are scheduled for interview starting Tuesday after their kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.

According to reports, Jets Players thrown Footballs in Sainz's direction at the end of their practice and also they were mocking her inside the locker room.

What a shame! I thought Players has paramount discipline? They shouldn't really tolerate this kind of incidents. Disciplinary actions must be imposed.

Later today, Sainz said she received the apology.

I don't want to make it a bigger deal. I have confidence in the NFL and the Jets management and I know this will serve as a precedent so that this dos not happen to another woman.

News reports said that Sainz was wearing indecent clothes. She was a former Miss Universe contestant and the place is crowded with males she should know that as a former Miss Universe contestant, she could attract males attentions.

But still the Jet's should have the initiative to behave properly and restrain themselves from those reported behavior.

As a journalist Ines Sainz has all the right to be in the locker room to do her job.
