North Korean Soccer Team Punished For World Cup Failure. After putting away our vuvuzelas and hoped for the best on the next World Cup for the respective teams we supported, the North Korean Soccer Team is being punished and dissed out publicly according to reports. The team manager is allegedly forced to work as a construction worker and has been receiving death threats. The athletes faced a "six-hour barrage of criticism". The only players who werent bashed out infront of 400 people were Japan-based players Jung Tae-se and An Yong-hak. Should they call themselves lucky enough because they missed those humiliations?

The team's manager Kim Jong-hun unfortunately got singled out for punishment and forced to do a construction job because his team's failure was seen as a personal betrayal to Kim Jong-un who is said to be the next leader of North Korea, succeeding his father, the "Dear Leader" Kim Jong-il. Allegedly there have been reports that it was already planned, that in case of a good performance at the World Cup, it'll be credited to the heir, to help ease the transition of power.
