Folsom Street Fair 2010. Folsom Street Fair at Folsom Street. Once a year, Leather and bondage have their day in the sun -- which is called The Folsom Street Fair. This festival, is also known as "the grand daddy of all leather events," and is not to be missed, if merely for thrilling yarns only. But there's so much more to the fest than twinge. There's food, booze, exhibitors, and live music. Canadian new wavers Dragonette and techno trio Nitzer Ebb will be performing live, among many others. Usually there's also some porn stars on hand to keep things charismatic and pleasing of course. But for those who is attending this event on sunday, keep in mind: though the fun is technically free, there is a suggested $10 donation. (Free, $10-11 a.m.)
