UFC 119 Mir vs Cro Cop, UFC 119 Results -- Frank Mir the former heavyweight champion made this fight a memorable one by his Knee KO.

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic the 2006 Pride Fighting Championships open weight grand prix winner was knocked out by Mir with one swift knee strike on third round of the UFC 119. "Mir vs Cro Cop" was held earlier today (saturday) at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianpolis. Cro Cop fell down like a prey on the last 58seconds of his match with Mir.
It looked kind of ugly to be honest, but I guess it’s better to pull of an ugly win than an ugly loss. Mir said.

UFC 119 Mir vs Cro Cop Results. The crowd was booing during the first and second round of their match due to lack of aggression and explosiveness. But in the final minute, Mir caught Cro Cop leaning in with a left hand and pulled his head into the fight-ending knee strike. Then he finished it off with a pair of follow-up punches that put Cro Cop on the ground, as referee Herb Dean moved in on his behalf.

"My strategy was to take him down, but his takedown defense is good, said Mir, who wasn't able to get Filipovic on the ground. "I was trying to do well. Mirko’s dangerous." The UFC 119 Results brought to you by "relentless thoughts".
